60 people have been evacuated in the five-storied dwelling house on Zhilyanskaya street, 120-b in the Shevchenkovskiy district in Kyiv because of cracks in the house.
As press-service of Emergency Ministry informed, rescuers received reports about opening of cracks on July, 30 at 02:33 p.m. The crack opening is 1,5 cm wide in the building outwalls from the ground floor up to the fifth floor.
The house belongs to “Yaroslavskaya” housing and communal services utility enterprise and it contains 16 communal flats. 60 people live in it including 12 children. Rescuers set signals in order to control cracks opening.
Experts make provisional conclusions the probable cause of cracks opening could be well boring for foundation of another dwelling house on Zhilyanskaya street, 118.
Authorities made decision about power-cut, gas and water supply cessation. The residents are re-settled in 20 hotel suites in “Sport” hotel on Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya street, 55.
As of 10:00 p.m. on July, 30 14 residents of the house on Zhilyanskaya street, 120-b were re-settled into “Sport” hotel. The rest of them decided to visit their relatives.
