Authorities will fix the housing rates for every block of flats in Kyiv till August, 1 this year. The head of Chief housing department at the Kyiv city state administration Vladimir Storozhenko informed the Kyiv city chairman Leonid Chernovetskiy.

As the press-service of the Kyiv city administration informed, city chairman was mostly interested of fulfilling his order to rise the wages for street cleaners, how Kyiv is ready for the next heating season, the level of people’s payment for the housing services. Realization of programs is also very important, particularly, “Your house, your yard”, “Elevator”, “Care”.

As Storozhenko informed the city chairman, authorities prepare for autumn and winter. They have already financed repair and prevention of water supply, city heating systems.

Thanks to the agreed work of Call-centre of the Kyiv city state administration and housing authorities, they liquidated and prevented any accidents or bug at the heating systems, notes Storozhenko. Workers have been asphalting the territories near the houses in order to fulfill the program “Your house, your yard”.

As Storozhenko noted, remedial maintenance with elevators is successful also. He also reminded authorities have fulfilled the order made by the Kyiv city chairman about the rise of wages for street cleaners in Kyiv – those people who work in the excess of planned rate (1,5 rate) in June will get Hr 2,000. This salary is much more than during the previous years”.
