At least four commercial and office centers in Kyiv will change their owners soon. Among the candidates on sale are Alta-center, Leonardo, Aladdin and Globus. They will become possessed by foreign companies that tasked themselves to consolidate the Kyiv’s commercial real estate.
Experts link the investors growing interest to the high profitability of managing these assets. It’s enforced with a lack of free land plots to build out due to the difficulties of getting them.
And if last year it was normal to sell commercial centers for six annual leasing rates, now their cost is estimated at 10-11 annual leasing rates. As to realtors, for the money raised from the sale of one commercial center now it’s possible to build three of them.
