Kyiv city administration sold a 113.53 hectares land area to Baski Plus – 2004 Company for UAH 999,763 mln (EUR 154 mln) by auction on Tuesday. A starting bid was UAH 869,359 mln (EUR 134 mln), a step – UAH 43,468 mln (EUR 6,687 mln). After the third step, when the price of UAH 999,763 was reached, Baski’s competitor Investbudservice gave up bidding.
Having bought the plot, the company will have to invest in the groundwork. In particular, it must replace or lower the pressure in a crossing gas pipe, as well as conduct engineering works. That will cost additionally about $600 mln.
After the buildings construction, the company will have to pass 20 pct of a living space (about 200,000 square meters) to Kyiv as a contribution to the city infrastructure development.
